you want to look behind the scenes of a film festival and you have some spare time to help us? you are welcome to join our team and sign up as a volunteer for the transition international queer & minorities film festival.
your tasks can vary from administrative tasks, fast help, office work, promotion and much more! in return we offer you a range of contacts, reading material, knowledge and free tickets to certain movies and lectures during the whole year. the transition international queer & minorities film festival showcases the diversity of minorities within the lqbtiqa+ spectrum. every year in vienna, austria, we use film as a way to confront, break stereotypes and engage our audience using discussions, workshops and lectures. we aim to increase visibility and initiate dialogue on migration, women*, people of color, refugees, dis/ability, trans*, religion and more. being minorities within a minority – our struggles, stories and his*herstories are often erased or are portrayed simplistically in one-dimensional ways, often laden with stereotypes. of course we are aware of very special times at the moment and will take care of your health and safety concerning covid-19. if you are interested in becoming part of the team and if you have some time from now onwards, please send us a short mail to volunteers@tiqmf.at with your cv and a few sentences about you and about your motivation to be part of this amazing festival. we are looking forward to meet you!
